Closer to our partners and suppliers

Establishing a responsible procurement policy with our partners and suppliers is an essential element of our Passion du Lait® approach. A relationship based on equity, durability and responsibility.

Equitable, enduring relationships.

As part of our CSR approach, we are committed to establishing equitable, durable relationships with our partners and suppliers. This commitment is written into our internal good conduct guide and provides for fair treatment of all suppliers when they compete for business, access to the same information and a balance of commercial and contractual relationships in the long term.

Enduring partnerships

We are aware of our economic responsibilities and have decided to secure the contracts we hold with our partners for periods of time longer than one year. This means we can offer our suppliers better visibility by entering into business partnerships and long-term research and development projects that are beneficial to both parties.

Responsible partners and suppliers

In return, we expect our suppliers to comply with the applicable regulations in terms of ethics, trading policy, environmental protection, health and safety, anti-corruption and employment law, including refraining from illegal child and forced labour. These commitments are written into a code of conduct that we distribute to all our partners and suppliers.

CSR is Passion du Lait®

There’s also a CSR element included in the specifications we issue with invitations to tender and in the questionnaire we send to suppliers before any relationship is entered into. It mainly concerns the company’s social and environmental aims and the measures they have in place to achieve them, their carbon footprint objectives and any CSR certifications pending or already obtained.
